Our journeys

Six routes we know by heart

Each one has been walked, eaten and slept through by someone on our team before a single guest was booked on it.

Himalaya
Himachal Pradesh

Spiti, slowly

Nine nights between Kaza and Tabo. Cold desert, whitewashed monasteries, and homestays where dinner is whatever the family is cooking.

From₹68,0009 nights →
Backwaters
Kerala

Alleppey & after

Two nights on a kettuvallam, then inland to Kumarakom and a spice farm near Thekkady. Mostly boats, mostly breakfast.

From₹54,0007 nights →
Desert
Rajasthan

Thar in winter

Jaisalmer, Khuri and two nights under canvas past Sam. Timed for December, when the afternoons stop trying to kill you.

From₹47,0006 nights →
Coast
Goa & Karnataka

The quiet coast

South Goa down to Gokarna by road. Beaches that still close at sunset and a kitchen in Cola we have been going back to for years.

From₹39,0006 nights →
Forest
Meghalaya

Living root country

Shillong, Cherrapunji and four days in the Khasi hills. Walking days, no hurry, and a guesthouse in Nongriat with no road to it.

From₹58,0008 nights →
Heritage
Madhya Pradesh

Temple towns

Orchha, Khajuraho and the ghats at Maheshwar. An unfashionable route, which is exactly why it is still worth doing.

How it works

Four conversations, one trip

Nothing is booked until you have seen it written down and said yes to it.

Tell us the shape

Rough dates, rough budget, who is coming, and what you want to be doing on day four. A twenty-minute call is usually enough.

We draft a route

You get a written itinerary with the towns, the stays, the travel legs and what each part costs — before anything is held.

You edit it

Swap a town, add a rest day, cut the early start. We redraft as many times as it takes to make it yours.

We hold the ground

Stays, transfers and guides confirmed and shared with you. One local number to call for the entire journey.

Sample itinerary

Spiti, slowly

Nine nights, two acclimatisation days built in, and a maximum of three hours on the road on any single day. This is what a written route looks like before you start editing it.

  • Day 01 – 02

    Shimla to Sarahan

Land, sleep, and start slowly. An afternoon at the Bhimakali temple and an early night before the valley proper.

  • Day 03 – 04

    Sangla & Chitkul

The last village before the border. Two nights so there is a whole day with nothing planned in it.

  • Day 05 – 07

    Tabo & Dhankar

A thousand-year-old monastery, a cliff-edge village, and the altitude day we build in deliberately.

  • Day 08 – 09

    Kaza & Langza

Homestays, fossil hunting above 4,000m, and the drive out over Kunzum when the pass is open.

  • Day 10

    Down to Manali

The long descent, a late lunch, and onward travel arranged from there.

What people say afterwards

★★★★★

“The rest day in Chitkul was the best decision anyone made for us. Every other operator wanted to move us on that morning.”

MKMeera K.Spiti, September 2025
★★★★★

“Four redrafts and never once made to feel like a nuisance. The itinerary we ended up with was genuinely ours.”

ARArjun R.Kerala, December 2025
★★★★★

“One number to call, and someone picked up at 11pm from a village with no signal to speak of. That is the whole product, really.”

Tell us roughly what you want

You do not need dates, a budget or a destination to start. Most conversations begin with “sometime after the monsoon, somewhere quiet”.
